La Tavola Italiana is an Italian Language activity group that sponsors film showings, culinary events as well as a bocce tournament, card games and talks on contemporary Italian culture. The tavola activities allow students to explore Italian culture in a relaxed setting that encourages interaction and discovery. Tavola activities are an integral part of all language courses and students from all levels participate. Many of the tavola activities are open to all members of the Duke community who are interested in Italian culture. Please join us to improve your Italian and learn more about the dynamic and creative culture of Italy.

The Spring 2012 schedule for La Tavola Italiana includes films, Italian dinners, a visit to the Italian Art collection of the Nasher Museum, and a bocce tournament on Friday, April 13. For more detailed information on dates, times, and locations, please see the schedule.
