In my language classes, my aim is to expand students' knowledge of Italian language as well as their understanding of the relationships between language and culture by utilizing the perspective of various disciplines such as anthropology, animal studies, documentary studies, history, literature, visual art, and economics.

My primary area of research is the interaction between literature, philosophy, and mass media in modern and contemporary culture. I have published articles focusing on the interplay between poetry, cinema and animal studies, and on the relationship between literature and digital technologies.
