Connected Diaspora: U.S. Central American Visuality in the Age of Social Media

Currently on display at Duke University’s Fredric Jameson Gallery, is Connected Diaspora: U.S. Central American Visuality in the Age of Social Media, a wide-ranging exhibition featuring the creativity and expression of the culture of Central American.  The idea for the exhibition emerged after Veronica Melendez met Claudia Milian, a professor who leads the Program in Latino/a Studies in the Global South at Duke University.  Artwork will be on view unil the end of February.    https://remezcla.com/features/culture/connected-diaspora-exhibition-central-american-art/
