La ‘Vita nuova’ del Boccaccio. Fortuna e tradizione (Rome-Padua: Antenore) is an interdisciplinary study of Giovanni Boccaccio’s edition of Dante’s Vita nuova (The New Life) and of its reception between the fourteenth and the sixteenth centuries. Analyzing the 'visual poetics' of every extant copy, it tells the story of this rich manuscript tradition, thus illuminating its fortunes and the consequent birth of the editor.
